It’s getting better……

I decided to go for a real run today! The only running I’ve been doing is the lame 2k to the gym through less crowded back alleys.
I’ve always loved running, but after my accident trying to run the streets of China when I first got here, I started looking elsewhere for cardio. It’s really dangerous out there! And I hate the treadmill, it’s so tedious and feels like I’m going nowhere.
Anyway I found some balls today and went for a run around Jade Lake. Today may have been the worst day possible since everyone is at the park celebrating the last day of the Chinese New Year break, but it felt really good and I’m glad I did it.
I love running. Besides, the running blogs I started following have been making me really miss it. I’ll just pretend I’m Frogger and make danger part of the fun.
